How to turn off email automatic notifications and receipts on Blackberry

One of the most annoying things about Blackberries is the way they send requests for email receipts by default. Here's how to turn them off.

1. On the Blackberry bold, navigate to any email inbox on your phone.
2. Press the menu key and click on options.
3. On Message Services choose the email address you wish to modify.
4. Then set the following three options to NO:
   • Confirm Delivery: NO
   • Confirm Read: NO
   • Send Read Receipts: NO

Those settings will prevent your annoying people with embarrassing read receipts, as well as keep the receipts from cluttering up your inbox.
