Staying Warm at Night by Dreaming

Just remembered a weird dream from last night:

San Francisco peaks Arizona

It was winter at dusk inside a huge volcano crater somewhere in Arizona where a few college professors were leading a trip. The sides of the crater were mountains lit with alpenglow. In the middle of the crater was a hot spring. We walked barefoot through wet grass and jumped in the hot water. The bottom of the water was lit with glowing red light from lava underneath. I had been freezing in my sleep, but woke up just after jumping in the water and was suddenly warm. Jumping into hot water in the dream seemed to immediately change my body temperature outside of the dream.

The volcano must have come from reading about Iceland. The tall grass came from reading about California snakes. Winter because it's cold inside, and the mountain ring from the caldera of the San Francisco peaks (photo) where I've gone winter camping. The hot springs must have been wishful thinking because the temperature inside gets down to the 50s at night here.

Most of the content came from things I had been reading about. I wonder if there is a way to program the content of dreams in order to stay warmer night. I am going to try to think about saunas and hot springs as I fall asleep tonight to see if it works...
