Random Number Generators for Memory Training

I've created a couple of quick pages that generate 5000 random numbers for practicing memory techniques. Here they are in two easily-printable versions:

A few more thoughts on memory:

Increasing Speed

I realized that since I don't know how to encode 0 to 99 with the Pridmore System I can continue to use the Dominic System for numbers 00 to 99, and slowly work in the 3-digit chunking as I learn it to see if it is faster for me. If not, I won't lose anything by overwriting my current system.

I'm still a relative beginner, but it seems like there are four stages in memorizing large sets of data, all of which happen extremely quickly:

I've been studying memory techniques for about six or seven months. It began when I started reading a book called Mind Performance Hacks by Ron Hale-Evans. I dabbled with a couple of the techniques mentioned in the book, and was so amazed at how effective they were, I started to read everything I could about memory, including many books and CDs by Dominic O'Brien, Yates' Art of Memory, Luria's Mind of a Mnemonist, Buzan, Hancock, and anything I can get my hands on.

Google Sidewiki Is GOOGjacking the World Wide Web

What Is Google Sidewiki?

First there was framejacking. Framejacking is what happens when another website tries to frame your content on their own website/URL by putting it in a frame. Prominent framejacking websites include About.com, Stumbleupon (su.pr) and Hootsuite (ow.ly). Framejacking is a violation of a user's browser because it hijacks the user's address bar and it violates your website because it hijacks your URLs. Framejacking is annoying, but individual websites can defend against framejacking by popping out of the HTML frames with JavaScript.

Now there is GOOGjacking (not to be confused with Googlejacking, which is the hijacking of SERPs through 302 redirects). GOOGjacking is when Google's new Sidewiki product puts Google's proprietary commenting system on top of your website without your permission, with no way for you to opt out.

How to Make Vietnamese Coffee

Here's a quick recipe on how to make iced Vietnamese coffee. I've never been to Vietnam but this is an approximation based on what I've had a Vietnamese restaurants. The final product is going to look something like this and taste great:

(Caution: Be aware of what you are doing while making the coffee because it involves boiling water and metal parts both of which are going to be hot enough to burn during this process.)

Here is what you need to get started:
